View the full list of biomarkers

What we test

Every biomarker we test

A NOVI Longevity assessment covers 100+ biomarkers across 10 areas of health — each one chosen to turn your numbers into insights you can act on.

Metabolic Resilience

Optimize how you power your day.

What it means

How efficiently your body converts food into energy, manages blood sugar, and maintains metabolic balance.

Why it matters

Steady energy, a healthy weight, and lasting vitality all start with your metabolism. These markers flag insulin resistance and early metabolic risk while it is still easy to act on.

Biomarkers (6)

HOMA-IR (insulin resistance)

A score calculated from your fasting glucose and insulin that estimates how resistant your body has become to insulin — an early sign of metabolic trouble, often before blood sugar itself rises.

HbA1c (3-month average blood sugar)

Reflects your average blood sugar over the past two to three months, giving a fuller picture of glucose control than any single reading.

Fasting Glucose

Your blood sugar level after an overnight fast — a core screen for prediabetes and diabetes.

Fasting Insulin

The amount of insulin in your blood while fasting; raised levels can flag insulin resistance well before glucose changes.

Uric Acid

A waste product that, when elevated, is linked to gout as well as metabolic and cardiovascular risk.

Body Composition Scan

Measures how much of your weight is fat versus muscle, and where it sits — a far better guide to health than weight alone.

Cardiovascular Health

A strong heart for a long life.

What it means

How well your heart and blood vessels move oxygen, handle stress, and stay clear of the damage that leads to heart disease.

Why it matters

A strong heart keeps you active, energized, and doing what you love for decades. These markers reveal your risk years before any symptoms, while there is still time to change it.

Biomarkers (16)

Total Cholesterol

The overall amount of cholesterol in your blood, combining both the protective and harmful types.

HDL

‘Good’ cholesterol that helps clear excess cholesterol from your arteries; higher is generally better.

LDL

‘Bad’ cholesterol that can build up in artery walls and raise your risk of heart disease.

HDL / LDL

The ratio between your good and bad cholesterol — a quick read on your overall cholesterol balance.

Triglycerides

A type of fat carried in your blood; high levels are linked to heart disease and metabolic issues.

Apo B (harmful cholesterol particles)

Counts the number of cholesterol-carrying particles that can clog arteries — often a sharper measure of risk than LDL alone.

Apo A1

The main protein in HDL, reflecting your body's capacity to remove excess cholesterol.

Apo B / Apo A1

The balance between harmful and protective cholesterol particles, and a strong predictor of cardiovascular risk.

hs-CRP (inflammation linked to heart risk)

A sensitive marker of low-grade inflammation that is associated with heart-disease risk.

Lipoprotein(a) (inherited cholesterol risk)

A largely genetic form of cholesterol that raises heart risk independently of lifestyle — worth knowing at least once in your life.

NT-proBNP (heart strain)

A hormone released when the heart is under strain, used to assess heart function.

Homocysteine

An amino acid that, when elevated, is linked to blood-vessel damage and cardiovascular risk.

Blood Pressure

The force of blood against your artery walls; sustained high pressure is a leading — and very treatable — risk factor.

Heart Rate

Your resting heart rate, a simple window into cardiovascular fitness and stress.

Red Blood Cell & Haemoglobin Indices

Measures of your red blood cells and their oxygen-carrying protein, screening for anaemia and related conditions.

VO2max (aerobic fitness)

The maximum oxygen your body can use during exercise — one of the strongest predictors of long-term health and longevity.

Inflammation & Recovery

Recover faster, live lighter.

What it means

How your body responds to stress, training, or illness, and how well it resolves inflammation.

Why it matters

Low background inflammation means faster recovery, stronger immunity, and feeling energized rather than run down. These markers show how well your body is coping and bouncing back.

Biomarkers (6)

White Blood Cell Indices (White cell count, Neutrophils, Lymphocytes, Monocytes, Eosinophils, Basophils)

A breakdown of your immune cells — the total count plus each major type — showing how your immune system is responding to infection, stress or inflammation.

hs-CRP (inflammation marker)

A sensitive marker of general, low-grade inflammation in the body.

Ferritin

Your body's iron stores; low levels point to iron deficiency, while high levels can reflect inflammation.

Zinc

An essential mineral for immune function, healing and recovery.

Magnesium

A mineral involved in energy production, muscle and nerve function, and recovery.

Lactate Dehydrogenase

An enzyme released when tissues are stressed or damaged, used as a general marker of cellular turnover.

Hormones & Vitality

Feel grounded, perform better.

What it means

The hormonal messengers that influence energy, libido, recovery, mood, and metabolism.

Why it matters

Balanced hormones drive steady mood, energy levels, muscle tone, and better sleep. These markers show whether your key hormones are working for you or against you.

Biomarkers (4)

Testosterone (male)

The primary male sex hormone, influencing energy, muscle, mood and libido.

FSH (female)

A hormone that helps assess ovarian function and menopausal status in women.

Thyroid hormones (TSH, Free T3, Free T4)

The key thyroid markers that govern your metabolism, energy and mood.

Fasting Insulin

Insulin measured while fasting — relevant to both metabolic and hormonal balance.

Cognitive & Mood Support

Think clearer, stress less.

What it means

Nutrients and hormonal signals that influence clarity, focus, and emotional balance.

Why it matters

Sharp focus, a steady mood, and mental clarity make everything else easier. These markers show whether the nutrients and signals behind your brain are in good supply.

Biomarkers (3)

Vitamin B12

Essential for nerve function, energy and mental clarity; deficiency can cause fatigue and brain fog.

Magnesium

Supports nerve signalling, sleep quality and a steady mood.

MCI Test (mild cognitive impairment screen)

A brief cognitive screen that checks memory and thinking for early signs of decline.

Nutrient Balance & Capacity

Replenish your essentials.

What it means

Whether your body has the right balance of micronutrients, and the nutrient-carrying capacity it needs for energy, cognition, and repair.

Why it matters

The right nutrient levels power your energy, focus, skin, and immunity. These markers show exactly where you are topped up and where you are running low.

Biomarkers (10)

Iron studies (Iron, TIBC, Transferrin, Saturation, Ferritin)

A full look at your iron status and storage, screening for both deficiency and overload.

Zinc

An essential mineral for immunity, skin and healing.

Magnesium

Supports energy, muscle and nerve function.

Vitamin B12

Needed for healthy nerves, blood and energy.

Folic Acid

A B vitamin essential for making new cells and healthy blood.

Vitamin D

Supports bone strength, immunity and mood; deficiency is very common in Singapore.

Phosphate

A mineral important for bones and energy metabolism.

Calcium

Essential for bones, muscles and nerve function.

Albumin

The main protein in your blood, reflecting your nutrition and liver function.

Globulin

A group of blood proteins involved in immunity and transport.

Liver Health

Keep your engine running clean.

What it means

How effectively your liver processes nutrients, hormones, and medications and clears waste, plus your hepatitis A and B status.

Why it matters

A healthy liver keeps your whole system running clean and efficient. These markers catch strain, fatty liver, and infection early, while they are still manageable.

Biomarkers (13)

ALT

A liver enzyme that rises when liver cells are stressed or damaged.

AST

An enzyme found in the liver and muscle, used alongside ALT to assess liver health.

ALP

An enzyme linked to the liver and bones that can flag bile-flow or bone issues.

GGT

A liver enzyme sensitive to bile-duct problems and alcohol intake.

Total Protein

The overall protein in your blood, reflecting nutrition and liver and kidney function.

Bilirubin

A waste product from red-blood-cell breakdown that the liver clears; high levels can signal liver or bile issues.

Albumin

A key protein made by the liver, reflecting its function and your nutrition.

Globulin

Blood proteins involved in immunity, and part of the liver-function picture.

A/G Ratio

The balance of albumin to globulin, a general marker of liver and immune health.

Lactate Dehydrogenase

Hepatitis B antigen

Checks for an active hepatitis B infection.

Hepatitis B antibody

Shows whether you're immune to hepatitis B, from past infection or vaccination.

Hepatitis A antibody (Anti-HAV)

Shows whether you're immune to hepatitis A.

Kidney Health

Support your system’s equilibrium.

What it means

How well your kidneys filter waste and keep your fluids, electrolytes, and minerals in balance.

Why it matters

Well-functioning kidneys keep your energy, hydration, and recovery in steady balance. These markers flag early changes long before you would ever feel them.

Biomarkers (8)

Creatinine

A waste product filtered by the kidneys, used to estimate how well they're working.

Urine Panel (Microalbumin, Creatinine, Alb/Cre ratio, pH, Protein, Glucose, Cells)

A urine analysis that screens for early kidney damage, infection and metabolic clues.

Cancer Testing

One more layer of awareness.

What it means

Blood markers that can rise with certain cancers. They support recommended, age-appropriate screening.

Why it matters

Awareness is part of staying ahead of your health. These markers add one more signal alongside your recommended screening, though on their own they cannot confirm or rule out cancer.

Biomarkers (7)

LucenceINSIGHT® multi-cancer blood test

A blood test that screens for signals of multiple cancers at once by detecting circulating tumour DNA.

CEA

A tumour marker that can be raised in some cancers, notably colorectal.
