Associate Consultant, Family Physician
13 years of clinical experience, including 9 years of Family Medicine experience in the Polyclinics, and is adept at managing paediatric, adult and geriatric acute and chronic medical conditions, women’s health, and mental health.
Focused on providing individualized care and shared decision making.
Has led a Teamlet, comprising doctors, nurses and care coordinators to ensure person-centered care to address patients’ acute and chronic medical care needs.
Has participated in and led multiple quality improvement projects including being part of the smoking cessation workgroup with the Health Promotion Board and working with Tan Tock Seng Hospital in a cross-institution collaboration to reduce lower limb amputation rates in people living with diabetes.
Is passionate about teaching and medical education, is a Faculty Tutor and Mentor with the College of Family Physicians Singapore for the Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) and Graduate Diploma of Family Medicine, and has won multiple teaching awards for undergraduate teaching with NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
